Symposium: Integrating Research in Architectural Practice

White Arkitekter’s Jonas Runberger will be speaking at the symposium ‘The changing shape of practice – integrating research and design in architecture’, which takes place on the 29th September in Oslo. His talk will focus on specific findings of White Research Lab and how they connect with the practice.

White Arkitekter is one of the practices featured in the book ‘CSoP 02 – The Changing Shape of Practice’, which is to be launched at the same event in the Norwegian capital. The symposium is organised by AHO (Oslo School of Architecture and Design) in collaboration with DogA (The Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture for Oslo Architectural Triennial).

Jonas Runberger is a practicing architect, educator and researcher focusing on the role of computation within architecture. He is the head of Dsearch, a computational development environment within White Arkitekter, and a member of the R&D Board for White Research Lab. He has been an Adjunct Professor at KTH School of Architecture in Stockholm and will be, as of 28th September, Professor at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
