When: 24 Apr
24-25 April

Location: Aula Medica, Solnavägen 1, Solna

White is one of the organizers of this spring’s major conference about thinking and rebuilding for patients of the future. The conference builds on the project New Karolinska Solna, which will be an ultra-modern university hospital – a world leader in highly specialised care with a focus on patient safety.

The conference is aimed at those responsible for and involved in the development of future hospitals, health care, clinical research and education. During the conference you will gain information and knowledge about the benefits of building modern hospitals and developing cooperation between health care, research and education. All this in a society where the demands on health care are ever increasing. You also get the opportunity to be inspired by the people behind the vision for the New Karolinska Solna and by international experts in the field.

Some of the speakers are: Torbjörn Rosdahl, Finance Commissioner, Stockholm County, Filippa Reinfeldt, Health Service Commissioner, Stockholm County, Johan Karlström, CEO, Skanska, Henny van Laarhoven, Director of Shared Service Center Orbis, The Netherlands, Birgir Jakobsson, Hospital Director, Karolinska University Hospital, Martin Ingvar, Karolinska Institutet, and Stefan Hyttfors, speaker of the year 2012. The moderator will be Sylvia Schwaag Serger, Director International Strategy, VINNOVA and Adjunct Professor Research Policy, Economics and Management, Lund University.

The conference is organized in a collaboration between Stockholm County Council, Karolinska University Hospital, Karolinska Institutet, Skanska, Coor Service Management, Tengbom, White, Ramboll, Sweco and ÅF.
