Coastal Cities are confronted with the effects of climate change and will need to take steps to stay not only alive but competitive. Private and corporate citizens of coastal cities demand a higher degree of preparedness as well as proactive initiatives to deal with rising sea levels and storms, such as Super Storm Sandy.

This European American Chamber of Commerce event will discuss what options are available and what has been done in other cities around the world. Discussion points will include: What can be done? Who can do what & what is being done already? How can projects like this be financed & What is the cost of doing nothing?
