White shortlisted for £90m Bristol Arena

White is one of five finalists in the RIBA Competitions led 12,000 capacity Bristol Arena project. The practice is competing in a multi-disciplinary team with engineers Arup and acoustic consultant Sandy Brown Associates.

The five finalists include;

The £90 million council-backed scheme will occupy a former diesel depot site known as ‘Arena Island’ next to Temple Meads railway station and is being masterplanned by Allies and Morrison.

Concepts went on anonymous display this week at various locations Bristol 29-31 January, including the Broadmead shopping zone on Saturday 31 January.

The winner will be announced in March.
